What are the best things to make with a panini maker? i just got one and i want something delisious

Anyone know how to make chicken in Krups panini maker? I have a Krups PG7000 Panini maker. It came with a recipe booklet that had instructions on grilling chicken breast using the machine. I can't find my recipe book and don't know what temp setting or how long to cook. I tried to wing it the other day and I overcooked the chicken.... but not sure if too hot or too long. I think it will make nice chicken for sandwiches and salads if I can figure it out.

My Best friend is getting married. What would be a good wedding gift under Rs2000 for him? One of the options I considered was some jewellery like ring but that looks little out of budget. The other options I considered are 1. DVD player 2. 2.1 or 5.1 Speaker system 3. Home appliance like Panini sandwich maker. Kindly suggest some good ideas.

HOUSE WARMING/BIRTHDAY PRESENT IDEAS?!?!? HELP!!!!!!!!!!? my best friend caitlin just moved into a brand new, big beautiful house with her family. they previously lived in a very small condo, so its a big change and she is very excited. she moved in yesterday, and her birthday is in 4 days (18 turning 19), so im getting her a birthday present, obvioulsy, but id like it sort of be a housewarming gift as well. my friend johanna and i have decided to go in on a gift, so it will be nicer. weve come up with so far: some sort of kitchen appliance (like a panini maker, waffle maker ect.) accompanied by a cook book, becsue she had mentioned how excited she was she has a big kitchen she can actually make food in. but other than that were stumpted! what do you suggest, any ideas? the only things id like you to keep in mind is that she is a 19 year old girl, and a price of around $40-$50 thanks!!

Panini makers...? I've used four different panini makers and I didn't like any of them. They either burnt the bread or didn't heat the meat enough and I don't want to have to pre-cook the meat because the cheese doesn't melt around the meat and I'm really picky. What would you recomend I use?

panini question? i received a panini maker for christmas and i just made the first sandwiches...yum! however i am unclear about whether the bread is to be buttered or not. the instructions said to lightly spray the grill with oil which i did. no butter then? also, where can i find good recipes for paninis? i did buy some good spreads...pesto, olive,some good cheeses and some roasted red peppers. what other ingredients do you suggest?

Paninis for dinner? I am making a Reuben Dip for work tomorrow so I bought everything I needed for it. I figured instead of buying something separate for dinner tonight I would just get some bread and extra corned beef and make paninia for dinner. I got a panini maker a few months ago as a wedding gift, but I have yet to use it. Any expert panini makers out there? I plan on using the following: Corned Beef Swiss Cheese Thousand Island dressing Sourdough Bread Maybe sauerkraut (I personally can't stand the stuff but my husband wants it) So my question is: How long should I cook it on the press for? fun dinner sandwiches? My husband and I were talking about something different to make for dinner and I thought of having a big homemade "gourmet" sandwich. I'm just not really sure what to make. Some of the negatives is we don't have a panini maker (we'll be making it the "old fashioned" way on the stove), we don't eat deli meat (I'll gladly roast up some chicken though), and I don't eat beef or pork. I was thinking of something along the lines with salsa, some form of smoked cheese some form of meat and some veggies? I dunno, I'll take any suggestions, even if it involves deli meat, beef or w/e because I can just substitute.

Need cleaning tips for stainless steel appliances and an oriental rug? Okay, so that's 2 questions in one. Don't hold it against me. Instead, please suggest a cleaner (or a home-made recipe/solution) for cleaning and shining stainless steel small appliances (coffee maker, panini maker, barmen's toolset, and some others) and for how to get set-in stains out of a small oriental rug. Don't know the composition of the stains; they've been there for awhile. They are on a white-ish background. Thanks!
