If the oven is the best I need to know the temp to set it to and the time. Thanks. Ah my mom just called me I'm having lunch out with her. Thanks anyways will do for next time.

I made a panini at home, will it be okay for my lunch? Should I microwave it? I didn't melt the middle, I just toasted the panini bread, and put sliced tomato, and grated mozzerela in it. I want to eat it for lunch at work, but we only have a microwave? Will it taste bad cold though, because it is 'slightly' toasted? can I microwave it, or will it taste bad? argh!! half an hour until lunch!

Can you make a panini sandwich in a George Foreman Grill? Or will it burn the bread? Would only a panini press do the job? I have to many small appliances cluttering the kitchen as it is, so don't want to add another one. Thanks for the tip Tomato but I am a Muslim so I don't eat ham, which would be from a pig, which is forbidden, all other halal meats I can eat! and vegetables, a mexican vegitarian panini would be the best.

help with losing weight? okay for my birthday (just after xmas) i'm getting a bike. i thought it would get me out of the house and help get me fit and losing weight. so in the new year i'm going to be making an effort to lose some. my diet is pretty good i'd say. everyday for breakfast i have a bowl of muesli with skimmed milk. i am addicted to muesli. i'd eat it for every meal if i had th chance but i know everythings good if its not in excess. i usually skip lunch because i get a tenner a week to spend on food and at school theres not really anything healthy. i used to have a cheese panini (its not proper panini bread its white french bread with loads of cheese in it and grilled) theres either paninis, white pasta, or big white sub sandwhiches filled with cheese and all of that yummy (bad) stuff. but i gave up lunch because i quickly learned that i couldn't have muesli for breakfast AND a panini for lunch w/o putting on weight. when i get home i'll have a cup of tea (skimmed milk w/ 2 sugars) and a banana. i'll usually pick on stuff like apples (which i love) and maybe have a chocolate digestive with my cup of tea. i try and not overdo things like that. and if i feel the need to eat i'll drink a big pint of squash. for tea we often have stuff like potato wedges with lots of olive oil on them and quorn fillets with lots and lots of vegetables. or white pasta again. or vegetable chili. all of which aren't too unhealthy. so basically if you count up my daily intake of calories (i count everything i eat and i have done ever since i got rid of being so silly and over the top about eating things) i usually consume between 1200 - 1600 each day. what else can i do to lose some weight? thanks! :)

Peach Panini? I was watching an episode of "Everyday Italian" with Giada de Laurentis, and she made this sandwich with PEACH on it. I think it was also on ciabatta bread and she used a panini press. I can't remember the episode, nor the name of the recipe. I tried going online to Food Network, but I can't find it. If anyone can tell me the episode, or give me a link to where I can find this recipe that would be great!

Ways to use Nutella & Nutella Recipes? My fav so far is getting 2 slices of ligth rye bread (or whatever bread) spreading nutella on both sides then putting sliced strawberries between the two slices of bread and putting it in a sandwich toaster/panini maker. anyone else got ideas?
Foody throwdown: How much can you talk up a PB&J sandwich? I thought we could have some fun with the market trend of using 'cuisine-speak' to fancy up basic recipes (e.g., its not a grilled cheese sandwich, its a 'Vermont Cheddar Panini') by applying it to the traditional peanut-butter and jelly sandwich. Here's a basic off-the-shelf recipe: 2 slices classic Wonder Bread 1 tbsp Skippy peanut butter 1 tbsp Welch's grape jelly Spread ingredients on one slice of bread, cover with the other slice. You can substitute your preferred ingredient for just one of the above, but try to stick to commonly available products (e.g. no 'peanut butter from the tomb of Queen Nefertiti'). So, its not a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich, its a . . .?

What is a Panini Caldi? I believe it is Italian food. What I want to know is what does, it look like, what kind of things usually go into making it, (e.g. flat bread, sausage, sauce, just basic ingrediants. Nothing in depth like yeast, eggs, flour, salt.)
Panini makers...? I've used four different panini makers and I didn't like any of them. They either burnt the bread or didn't heat the meat enough and I don't want to have to pre-cook the meat because the cheese doesn't melt around the meat and I'm really picky. What would you recomend I use?
