Can you heat ranch dressing?

I have southwest ranch dressing and i want to use it in a panini but I am worried about heating it in the panini press?

1. You cannot heat it by itself, but putting it in the panini will indirectly heat the ranch, so you should be fine
2. I use ranch dressing on fresh steamed veggies all the time! It will be fine in the press, just maybe use it sparingly because it will get thin when warmed and soak into the bread. You don't want a soggy sammy!
3. It may curdle.
