Best Panini Maker

Can pancakes be cooked in a sandwich maker, or would the center remain raw from the thickness?

My sandwich maker would name them as triangles, but the molds are curved and the widest points are about as thick as 2 slices if bread. Will it cook all the way, or will the center still be raw.
