How can I make paninis without a panini press?

- If you have an old George Foreman grill, that works great! If not, heat a skillet as you would for grilled cheese. Place a heavy pan or object on your sandwich while it grills. Remove and turn over, repeating by placing the weight on sandwich while it cooks.
- yeah ive seen chefs just use a grill, and take a brick and wrap it in foil and use it to put on top of the sandwich.
- You can use a regular grill pan or skillet--place the sandwich in the pan once it is greased, and place another skillet/pan on top of it, and press it down a bit. Leave the pan on while the sandwich cooks, then flip it and follow the same process. It may not have the "grill marks" that a panini press would give it, but it will taste delicious. Good luck!
- Just find the fatest homeless guy and tell him to sit on it.
