2. I bought one made by Morphy Richards, it was expensive at around rs/3000, but very nice quality and works very well.

4. The one that does not need to be plugged in during Summer. Power Cuts and all that, you know. Otherwise, your best option is to go to a Decent Sandwich Maker like those suggested by my friends and let them bother about the above.
