instructions for electric sandwich maker?

I bought an electric sandwiich maker at a thrift store brand name is eastern electric.It is small and clamps shut, makes two sandwiches.Does anyone have any recipes and how long you cook them for? Thanks

1. dude are you really that lazy? even a 5 year old can make a sandwich. come on. what a waste of technology.
2. Here's some recipes for the electric sandwich press.
3. You may have to do some experimenting. Put the stuff in there and check it every 2 or 3 minutes. It usually will take about 6 minutes for mine to brown the bread to my liking, but everyone's machine is different and everyone's preferences are different.
4. You'll need to keep checking until you get the hang of how long your particular sandwich maker takes to brown things to your liking. No two work quite the same. Savoury: try cheese and hot peppers. Onions are good with it as well. Sweet: try jam, with a dusting of sugar on the outside of the sandwich.
