I want to get my mom a panini press for her birthday and I can't decide which kind to buy? I want something that will last a long time and not super ginormous. help!

- Look also for "media noche" presses. They are the ones used to make Cuban sandwiches. It is just another name for the same item. Serch for both on Froogle dot com. That will give you a alot of options and access to the cheapest prices on the net.
- pick one that you can take the plates out to wash......... some turn so it can be a waffle iron check out qvc or hsn for sale items
- there is a wolfgang puck panini press and u can change the plates to have a waffle iron too. i think you can get it on hsn
